Happy National Boss’s Day to Tamarra Coleman, CEO of the Racine Family YMCA! 💙

Today, we celebrate a leader whose dedication to our mission, commitment to our community, and belief in people help move our YMCA forward.

Tamarra, your impact reaches beyond the day-to-day work of leading an organization. It is reflected in the relationships you build, the staff you encourage, and the opportunities you help create for those we serve. You remind us that the Y is more than a place, it is a community where people can find support, discover their potential, and belong.

Thank you for the countless hours, thoughtful decisions, and heart you invest in the Racine Family YMCA. We recognize that leadership often means doing important work behind the scenes, navigating challenges, and keeping the mission at the center of it all. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.

On behalf of our YMCA family, thank you for all you have done, and continue to do, to strengthen our organization and the community we call home.

Please join us in wishing Tamarra a Happy National Boss’s Day! 👏

Our hot tub is down at our Image Management Family YMCA facility, but we’re not standing still! Thank you to our members for your patience and understanding. We know you’re missing your time to soak and relax, and we appreciate you hanging in there while we get things ready.

While we wait for a replacement filter, we’re putting the downtime to good use with a thorough cleaning and scrubbing. When the filter arrives and we refill the hot tub, it’ll be extra CLEAN! ✨

We’ll share an update when the hot tub is ready to welcome you back. In the meantime, we’re keeping things moving—even while we wait! 💙

We are deeply grateful to the Racine Community Foundation for its generous grant support of the YMCA’s Young Leaders Academy (YLA) program.

This investment helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities for young people to grow as confident, capable, and community-minded leaders. Through YLA, participants build leadership skills, strengthen relationships, explore their potential, and gain experiences that prepare them to make a positive difference in their schools, families, and community.

Thank you, Racine Community Foundation, for believing in our youth and helping the YMCA empower the next generation of leaders in Racine. Your partnership makes a lasting impact.
