Your body isn’t running out of energy by accident. The real question is: what’s slowing your batteries down? 🔋 Discover why on this week’s Mitochondria Monday.

07/23/2026

We pulled some security footage from the clinic and caught a glimpse of something that happens here every Sunday morning when no one else is around.

Jamey comes in early for a Superhuman session, then walks through the clinic praying over every room, every therapy, and even the chairs where patients will sit in the week ahead. He always ends in the lobby, praying over this place and every person who will walk through its doors.

This was never meant for a camera or a post. It’s simply what happens here when no one is watching. And in many ways, this is the heartbeat of Boro Holistic Health.

This place has never belonged to Dr. Underwood and Jamey. They dedicated it to God a long time ago.

They just try to follow where He leads. ❤️🙏

Dr. Underwood’s job? Connect the dots. 🧬

Because understanding what’s happening with your mitochondria may help explain what’s happening with you.

💧 Hydration is more than just drinking water.

In the summer heat ☀️, sweating means losing water AND essential electrolytes… and our diet may not always replenish those essential minerals as quickly as we lose them.

Got white stains on your shirts after sweating? There may be more to it! 👀

Electrolytes are essential for nerve signaling, muscle function 💪, cardiovascular health, brain function 🧠, and so much more.

👉🏼 But keep in mind… adding extra electrolytes to your water makes the most sense when your body is actually losing more - like on hot days when you’re sweating or working hard. If you’re sitting indoors at a desk all day, you may not need the same level of electrolyte replacement. Use them to replenish what your body is losing… not simply because it’s a trend.

Don’t just drink up… replenish what you lose. 💧

Max Hydrate™ available in clinic or online.

🧬 Genetic testing is only as valuable as the interpretation behind it.

✨ At Boro Holistic Health, we do more than identify variants. We look at how genes interact, how pathways function, and what those findings may mean for nutrition, supplements, lifestyle, and next steps.

And we do not stop there…

🧩 For established patients in our clinic, we can take the bigger picture into account by pairing gene mapping with bloodwork, bioenergetic feedback, Blood Type Diet, and other clinical findings to help guide more personalized care over time.

That is the difference between simply buying a report online and actually knowing how to apply it.

Most tests identify variants. We interpret how they function. 🧬💡

🥩🌾 Exciting things are happening behind the scenes at Boro Holistic Health.

Meet Wilma & Betty. 🐄🐄

These two 2-year-old Dexter heifers are the newest additions to WoodedAcresFarm - Doc and Jamey’s family farm in Middle Tennessee.

Why are we sharing this on the clinic page?

Because over the next year, our goal is to begin offering Wooded Acres beef in the freezer at the Corner Market inside Boro Holistic Health.

As Doc teaches, health doesn’t happen inside an exam room. It starts with the choices we make every day…including where our food comes from.

This is one more step toward creating a true pasture-to-plate experience for our patients and community.

We’re excited to connect the farm and the clinic in a way that simply makes healthy sense. 🌾🥩🤎

Welcome to the family, Wilma & Betty.
