Big changes are coming to Medicare pricing and prescription drug limits for 2027. Staying ahead of these numbers is the best way to protect your healthcare budget.
Here is a quick look at what is changing:
🔵 Part D Out-of-Pocket Cap (TrOOP): Increases to $2,400. Once you hit this limit on covered drugs, your cost-sharing drops to $0 for the rest of the year.
🔵 Part D Standard Deductible: Rising to $700.
🔵 Part D Monthly Premiums: Standing at a projected average of $36.00. Critical Alert: The federal premium stabilization program is ending, meaning individual plans may vary wildly, and $0 premium standalone drug plans have largely disappeared.
🟢 Part B Premium & Deductible: Projected to rise to $209.50 / month and $292 / year.
