I’m excited to share that I have successfully completed Module 2: Comprehensive Assessment in Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) through CLASI! 🎉

This program has already deepened my understanding of sensory integration assessment and strengthened my ability to provide evidence-based care for the children and families I serve.

The learning doesn’t stop here! From Thursday through Sunday, I’ll be in Palm Beach completing the next in-person module of this certification program. I’m looking forward to learning from incredible instructors, gaining hands-on experience, and bringing even more knowledge and skills back to RISE Pediatric Therapy.

I’m grateful for every opportunity to continue growing so I can provide the highest quality care to the children and families who trust us. 💛

💛 Why Connection Comes First at RISE

At RISE Pediatric Therapy, we use the DIRFloortime® model to support children in a way that feels safe, respectful, and meaningful.

DIR stands for Developmental, Individual differences, and Relationship based.

🌱 Developmental
We meet your child where they are and support the next steps in their growth.

🧠 Individual Differences
Every child processes the world differently. We honor sensory needs, communication styles, strengths, and challenges.

💛 Relationship Based
Progress happens through connection. We follow your child’s lead, join their play, and build joyful back and forth interactions that strengthen social communication and regulation.

When children feel connected, they are more available for learning.

At RISE, we focus on engagement first.
Because connection is the foundation for everything else.

If you would like to learn how this approach could support your child, we would love to connect. 💛

Play is not “just play.” 🌱☀️

At RISE Pediatric Therapy, we support toddlers in building strong foundations for connection, regulation, and meaningful engagement through the DIRFloortime® model. 💛

As a DIRFloortime® Proficient therapist, I follow your child’s lead, meet them at their developmental level, and expand circles of communication through shared attention and joyful back and forth play. 🫶

Through relationship based, individualized support, we nurture: ☀️Engagement
☀️ Emotional connection
☀️Social communication
☀️Problem solving through play
🌟 Regulation to support participation

When connection grows, social communication and play naturally expand.

If you have questions about your toddler’s play skills, we are here to help.
