Hand tattoos!! 🤍 I absolutely love them, but they do require a little extra TLC and maintenance!
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
✨ Touch-ups are normal! Hand tattoos can require anywhere from 2–4 touch-ups, sometimes more or less depending on the person, placement, and how their skin heals.
✨ I’d rather have ink fall out than cause a blowout! We can always go back in and add more ink, but a blowout is much harder to correct.
✨ Not every dark spot is a blowout! Some areas of the hand naturally hold ink better than others, which can cause uneven healing or darker spots.
Hands are one of the trickier areas to tattoo because of how much we use them daily. Patience, proper aftercare, and realistic expectations are key!
