A new chapter is ahead for the Tennessee Nurses Association.

We are excited to announce Dr. Martina Suttle Harris, EdD, MSN, CNE, ANEF, as TNA's next Chief Executive Officer!

With more than 30 years of nursing experience and a history of involvement with TNA, including serving as District 4 President, Dr. Harris brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of Tennessee's nursing community.

Dr. Harris will officially begin her role in December 2026.

The Tennessee Nurses Association is proud to partner with the Tennessee Pain Society for its 2026 Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions, December 3–6 at the Omni Nashville Hotel.

The conference will bring together healthcare professionals for educational sessions focused on pain management, treatment, and patient care.

The wait is over! Beginning today, the 2026 Nurses Run Tennessee: Caring for the Long Run! Virtual 5K officially kicks off.

For the entire month of September, you'll have the opportunity to complete your 5K on your own time while joining a statewide community committed to supporting the Tennessee Nurses Foundation.
