Together we pray for the mothers of this planet, receive the medicine of the new mother, and develop our skills to better serve the Her, carrier of life. 🌹

Come join us this summer in New Zealand for a weekend of learning how to care for a new mother in the way of the Sacred, with warm Ayurvedic food, herbal remedies, and a circle of devoted caregivers.

5–7 February 2027, we’ll spend the weekend together in a beautiful house, receiving all our meals cooked by AyurMama graduate Ayurvedic Doulas, and learning and practicing the arts of Ayurvedic postpartum care side by side.

This is for doulas, birth workers, mothers, and anyone who feels called to hold mothers in those first tender weeks. It’s going to be a profound weekend of devotional postpartum care for one another.

The main thing new parents need: food & support

I love the idea of gifts for babies but honestly the thing that’s going to shift a families day more than anything is you taking things OFF their plate by putting food ON their plate.

If you don’t like cooking, get them some staple groceries or a gift card.

That’s always going to be my answer.

What do hospice rooms, dance floors, the streets of India, immigrant families & postpartum mothers all have in common?

A thin veil.

Great big doors into a feeling of belonging to something bigger than yourself.

Leaving everything you know and landing somewhere new, Being born into a new land, a new body, a new life & a new chapter.

That’s what I’ve always chased, and what carries me deep into a sense of belonging.

Everyone and everything is sacred, and a fu***ng mess, all in one.

We act like we know what’s coming, but we have no idea.
This is why we need ceremonial care & systems for sacred rites of passages.

Someone to hold us through these transitions, to connect us to our spirit, the divine, our breath, and our bodies. A curator, an artist, a healer, a guide.

The body is in charge, and it is our anchor between here and elsewhere.

I choose to work with the mystery of life, the pain of life, and the love of life. I choose to work with the body & the ethereal as one.

The work of feeding mothers is not oversaturated nor could it ever be.

Mothers are starved of nourishment, connection, support, warmth & rest.

If you know how to cook, you want to do this as your job, you enjoy cooking for your community, we need you and yes you deserve to be paid for it.

The more we step up for it, the more we will all be well nourished. Including you.

When you serve from overflow & devotion, mothers come out of their earliest weeks of postpartum feeling so nourished, so held, and so ready to raise their babies with confidence, support, and reverence for life.

This work exists in reciprocity.

Life exists in reciprocity.

When mothers receive ceremonial support after birth, then the children grow up to know life and the sacred as inseparable.

An Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula is sacred duty, a dharmic path to bring life back into those who bring life.

When we live out our dharma, we prosper. There is no way around that.

Then it becomes our responsibility to continue serving humanity

In the school, I give you everything, step by step, to confidently step into this work and begin serving mothers in a way that is both deeply devotional and sustainably abundant.

I didn’t create the AyurMama Doula School just to teach the beautiful wisdom of Ayurvedic postpartum care, also known as Sutika Paricharya.

I created it because I found a way of offering this work that was deeply nourishing, sustainable and professional. A way to serve mothers with integrity while building a career that could also support me and my family as a co-parenting mama with difficult availability 🌸

And let me tell you! like any business, this definitely didn’t happen overnight.

It took years of devotion, learning, refining, making mistakes, creating systems, and showing up again and again. I’ve spent the last three years building the forms, contracts, templates, client systems, resources, and processes that allow me to offer premium postpartum care with confidence.

I don’t want students to have to reinvent the wheel when I could just share it all with you instead! And the beautiful thing is that you can create ANY postpartum care business that you desire, this just helps you get there a lot faster

Inside the AyurMama Doula School, you’ll receive so much more than philosophy, Ayurvedic wisdom, and postpartum care education. You’ll also learn how to implement this work in an embodied and sustainable way. It becomes your way of life

Some students begin supporting their very first postpartum families within weeks of starting their training. The possibilities when serving LIFE are limitless.

This path still requires devotion, self-development, compassion, and a genuine desire to serve. No certification can replace those qualities. But if you’re willing to walk this path, I would be deeply honored to walk with you 🕉️🌸🤍
