We are a small, family-owned business that began in 2010. Our business arose out of a need to help family members whose health was rapidly deteriorating. We found through research, education, and testing that nutritional foods are the best foundation for improving health. The well-being of every cell in our body depends on the nutrition we feed it and how well we hydrate it. That's why we formulated "Kidney Stuff" as a high quality, non-GMO, food-based product. The ingredients in our products undergo rigorous testing standards and are manufactured in an FDA-registered and approved facility, using cGMP standards*. This ensures purity, safety, and nutritional efficacy. We believe supplementation with food-based products like "Kidney Stuff" is very beneficial for overall kidney function and encourage our customers to add plant-based organic foods (kale, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, fresh fruit, etc.) to their everyday diet for improvement of health. If is something you’ve been asked to pay attention to, don’t stop at the Nutrition Facts panel.

Take a look at the ingredient list, too.

Phosphorus can be added to processed and packaged foods, and NIDDK recommends looking for the word “phosphorus” or ingredients containing “PHOS.”

You may see names such as:

• Phosphoric acid
• Disodium phosphate
• Monosodium phosphate

But here’s the important part:

Not every person with CKD has the same nutritional needs.

Your lab values, kidney function, medications and overall health all matter when determining what belongs in your eating plan.

When we created Kidney “Stuff,” we wanted to build a formula around carefully selected nutritional ingredients—not simply add a long list of isolated compounds.

Golden flaxseed is one of those ingredients. Our golden flaxseed provides ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), lignans and fiber, and we use a True Cold Milled (TCM) process as part of how we prepare the flaxseed used in our formula.
