🦃🍂 NEW ORLEANS EAST, WE’RE COMING TOGETHER FOR THANKSGIVING! 🍂🦃

Join us for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana’s inaugural Thanksgiving Block Party! We’re bringing families together for fun and community connection that goes beyond the holiday season! ❤️

Our goal is to provide Thanksgiving Food Boxes to up to 150 families, while connecting New Orleans East residents with valuable community resources that can make a lasting difference in their lives.

📅 Saturday, November 14, 2026
⏰ 11 AM – 2 PM
📍 Goodwill New Orleans East Campus
5770 Read Blvd., New Orleans, LA

✨ Here’s what you can look forward to:

🦃 Thanksgiving Food Boxes with items to help families prepare a holiday meal

🤝 Community resources, including employment assistance, financial education, health and wellness services, and more!

🎨 Fun activities for the kids!

🎶 Music, family-friendly fun, and opportunities to connect with your neighbors!

📝 IMPORTANT: HOW TO RECEIVE A THANKSGIVING FOOD BOX

Families interested in receiving a Thanksgiving Food Box must visit our participating community resource tables and complete a Resource Passport by collecting the required stamps. Completed passports are required to receive a food box. Available for up to 150 families, while supplies last.

Because Thanksgiving is about more than a meal. It’s about building connections, strengthening families, and supporting our community long after the holiday is over. 💙

We can’t wait to see you there!
