Healing isn’t a straight line — and a plateau doesn’t always mean your body has stopped making progress.

Tissue repair happens in three overlapping stages: inflammation clears damaged tissue and protects against infection, proliferation rebuilds it as new blood vessels and collagen form, and remodeling strengthens and reorganizes that tissue — a process that can continue for months after symptoms improve.

That’s why progress can feel invisible even when your body is still hard at work beneath the surface.

HBOT increases oxygen availability to tissues, which can support key biological processes involved in healing for appropriate medical conditions.

Progress takes time. Give your body the support it needs to heal further.

Your pulse oximeter reads 99% — so why would you need more oxygen?

A pulse ox only measures the oxygen carried by hemoglobin in your red blood cells. It doesn't measure the oxygen dissolved in your plasma — a separate pathway that delivers oxygen straight to your tissues.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) works on that second pathway. By breathing 100% oxygen under increased pressure, HBOT significantly increases the amount of oxygen dissolved in plasma — delivering more oxygen to tissues throughout the body, beyond what a normal blood oxygen reading shows.

Pressure is what sets HBOT apart.

What actually happens inside a hyperbaric chamber? 👀

When you breathe oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure, more oxygen can dissolve into your blood plasma — helping deliver oxygen to tissues throughout the body.

But the science goes even deeper. Research is exploring how HBOT may support:

🧠 Neuroplasticity + brain function
🩸 New blood vessel formation
🧬 Stem + progenitor cell mobilization
⚡ Cellular energy + mitochondrial function
⏳ Markers associated with cellular aging

One study in healthy older adults even found changes in telomere length and senescent cell populations following a specific HBOT protocol.

HBOT is more than just breathing oxygen — it’s about what your body can do with oxygen under pressure.

Celebrities and elite athletes are putting hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the spotlight.

HBOT is becoming a familiar name in the recovery and longevity conversation.

Inside a medical hyperbaric chamber, increased pressure allows the body to take in significantly more oxygen, supporting oxygen delivery to tissues and the body’s natural healing processes.

Curious what HBOT could look like for you?

Stress doesn’t clock out when you do—and sometimes, neither does your brain. 🧠

For one MD Hyperbaric patient, a high-stress job made it difficult to unwind and get quality sleep. After incorporating HBOT into his wellness routine, he says he felt better, more relaxed, and more refreshed.

Sometimes your body just needs a little extra support to reset. 💙

Think hyperbaric oxygen therapy is just for scuba divers? Think again.

While HBOT is well known for treating decompression sickness, its medical applications extend far beyond the diving world. By delivering 100% oxygen in a pressurized environment, HBOT increases the amount of oxygen available to tissues—supporting important processes involved in healing and recovery.

From FDA-cleared indications like certain non-healing wounds and radiation tissue damage to emerging areas of research, the science of hyperbaric medicine continues to evolve.

Swelling is a natural part of the body’s response to injury—but too much swelling can make healing more challenging.

As pressure builds in injured tissue, circulation can become restricted, making it harder for oxygen to reach the areas that need it most. HBOT increases the amount of oxygen dissolved in the plasma, helping support oxygen delivery to compromised tissue and the body’s natural repair processes.

There’s more happening beneath the swelling.
