Can bunions go away on their own?

Short answer: probably not. 👣

But here's the part people sometimes get wrong: having a bunion doesn't automatically mean you need surgery.

If it's not causing pain or interfering with your daily life, you may simply need to keep an eye on it. If it's becoming painful, making shoes harder to wear, or affecting how you move, there are ways to manage symptoms and take pressure off the area.

And if your bunion is progressing or becoming increasingly difficult to manage, that's a good reason to have it evaluated by a podiatrist.

The goal isn't to treat every bunion. It's to understand your feet and figure out what, if anything, they need.

Save this one for the next time Google sends you down a foothealth rabbit hole. 😂

The most dangerous sentence in New York is "I'll just grab a quick coffee." ☕️

Next thing you know, you've walked three neighborhoods, taken 47 photos you don't need, spent $40 more than you meant to, and somehow made a whole day out of it.

And honestly, that's our favorite kind of the magic in this city. And with the crisp air of fall finally showing up, we're finding every excuse to stay out a little longer.
