September is National Recovery Month. This year, we asked our patients a simple question: What has treatment given back?

Addiction can take a lot. Our patients told us about the things they’ve gained through treatment: confidence, love, family, freedom, a sense of self, and the ability to be present for the moments that matter.

Big or small, every story matters. Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing anonymous responses from real patients and celebrating the many things that can come back with care, support, and treatment.

Overdose is preventable, and access to evidence-based treatment saves lives. Today, we remember. And tomorrow, we keep doing the work.
