Today is Lobular Breast Cancer Awareness Day. 🩷

Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is a type of breast cancer that begins in the milk-producing glands, or lobules, of the breast. Raising awareness matters because lobular breast cancer can have characteristics that differ from other types of breast cancer.

Today, we honor everyone affected by lobular breast cancer and help bring greater visibility to their experiences, questions, and support needs.

At SHARE, you can find trusted information, resources, and a community that understands. 💗 Visit the link learn more: https://www.sharecancersupport.org/breast-cancer/

Metastatic breast cancer is breast cancer that has spread beyond the breast to other parts of the body. While advances in treatment continue to give people more options, there is currently no cure for MBC.

At SHARE, we’re here to provide trusted information, support, and community for people living with metastatic breast cancer—and for the people who love and care for them.

Being heard matters. Your health matters. Your voice matters. 🖤
Black women deserve equitable, respectful, and quality care. Implicit bias and communication gaps can create barriers to timely diagnosis and treatment, especially when symptoms are dismissed or concerns are not fully heard.

Demand equitable care. Early detection saves lives, but timely diagnosis depends on a healthcare system that listens to patients, respects their concerns, and acts without delay.

Expand representation. Diverse representation in clinical research and medical trials is essential to closing healthcare gaps, strengthening what we know about gynecologic cancer, and improving outcomes for all women.

Your symptoms deserve attention. Your concerns deserve to be taken seriously. You deserve to be heard.

This week, we're shining a light on cancers that often receive less public attention while recognizing the patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates working every day to increase awareness and improve outcomes.

Every diagnosis deserves attention.

Every patient deserves support.

Every story deserves hope.

Help us make sure rare gynecologic cancers are never invisible.
