THE MORE YOU KNOW!!!

05/24/2026

Not every pause is depression. Sometimes it’s peace arriving quietly. 💜 There’s a strange season of life where peace can almost feel unfamiliar.

After years of striving, performing, caregiving, building, surviving, achieving… quiet can feel confusing.

I’ve been asking myself lately:
Am I becoming more content?
Or am I just tired?

And maybe the answer is a little of both.

But I’m learning that not every season is supposed to feel loud.
Not every dream unfolds overnight.
Not every pause means you’ve stopped mattering.

Sometimes a pause is restoration.
Sometimes it’s wisdom.
Sometimes it’s finally learning that your worth isn’t tied to constant motion.

As women — especially in perimenopause and menopause — I think we’re taught to fear stillness.
But what if stillness is where we finally hear ourselves again?

I’m still dreaming.
Still building.
Still becoming.

Just with softer shoulders now. And it’s …OK🙂

Choosing the colors and textures of comfort, movement, and PAUSE. Choosing the right color is about more than style.

It’s about emotion.
Energy.
Movement.
How a woman wants to feel while moving through the world.

Today was spent surrounded by leathers, textures, softness, structure, and possibility as we continued developing the first PAUSE by BBRAXTON™ travel shoe.

I keep coming back to the same question:

How do we create something elegant enough for the journey… but soft enough for the woman experiencing it?

Especially for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, comfort is no longer a luxury — it becomes part of wellness.

Every detail matters.
Every color tells a story.

For years, my feet carried me through Broadway stages, airports, rehearsals, tours, meetings, caregiving… and life.

Somewhere along the way, I began wondering why women — especially those navigating perimenopause and menopause — are so often expected to choose between elegance and comfort while traveling through the world.

So I started creating something I needed myself.

The beginning of the PAUSE by BBRAXTON™ travel shoe journey.

Thoughtfully designed through the lens of movement, softness, beauty, endurance, wellness, and PAUSE.

Seeing the first forms, lines, and leathers come together feels deeply personal.

Designed for PAUSE and the women still moving beautifully through life.

Reinvention is a beautiful thing. There was a time when I thought reinvention belonged to younger women.

Then life taught me something different.

The woman on the left was fighting to arrive.
The woman in the middle learned how to command the room.
The woman on the right understands the power of presence, peace, and PAUSE.

Broadway gave me applause.
Life gave me wisdom.

And somewhere between performing, traveling, caregiving, surviving, evolving, and stepping into menopause…
PAUSE by BBRAXTON™ was born.

Not as a brand about slowing down.

But as a reminder that women do not disappear with age.
We deepen.
We expand.
We become more ourselves.

This next chapter is about beauty, wellness, travel, joy, elegance, reinvention, and creating space for women navigating perimenopause and menopause to still feel seen.

And honestly?

I think she’s just getting started.

Menopause doesn’t just happen to women. It happens within relationships.

And yet… no one talks about that part.

So I created PAUSE Together™.

A shared wellness experience designed for couples navigating change—physically, emotionally, and intimately.

Because support shouldn’t feel clinical. It should feel like:

💜 A calming ritual at the end of the day. 💜 A moment of connection instead of confusion. 💜 A partner who understands what your body is going through

This is where PAUSE by BBRAXTON™ evolves.

From individual care → to shared experience. From products → to rituals From menopause → to connection

This isn’t just a category shift. It’s a conversation shift.

And I believe it belongs in: • Hotels •Resorts• Wellness retreats• Corporate wellness programs

Because when one person is going through a transition…the relationship is too.

Tonight, we PAUSE. Together.
