Shen Tao Studio We are founded to help dancers, athletes, teachers & anyone looking to cultivate the deep connection between the cognitive mind & the neuro-muscular system.

We offer classes, private coaching, workshops, bodywork & dance classes.cutt.ly/Fe2gWye The term "Shen Tao" ( Ways of the Body ) refers to the wisdom one acquires through the study of one's own body and mind. Its application was developed through interviews with dancers, gymnasts, athletes and martial artists. The "Shen Tao" approach is a series of artistic, scientific, and therapeutic processes aimed at developing better mind-body communication. Our goal is to promote and encourage your understanding of how to care for your own body, develop better health and wellness, and discover your maximum potential. We will share with you the way of innovation by introducing or deepening your creativity in movement with the support of our unique, handcrafted training equipment!

This video is a call for partnership.
I have created a line of original training apparatus,
and an educational curriculum of classes, workshops, certification programs, and master trainer tracks.
I'm seeking to partner with a manufacturing firm
to fabricate, market, and distribute this line of training apparatus and to promote and produce the educational curriculum
of how to use these tools in a professional environment.
If you represent a company that you feel my work might be a good fit for I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you in more depth.
Here's what I have to offer.

No one tradition has all the answers.
No one system is appropriate in all contexts.
No one approach will work all the time.
So: explore, experiment, invent, reinvent, innovate, develop, co-develop, discover, research, distill, modify, theme, and very, change, evolve, mature.
The world needs what you will find.
This is what I have found…

I WANT people to experiment with this equipment.
I WANT them to be unregulated, unrestricted, and uncontrolled.
I WANT them to explore, to lead with their intuition, to make mistakes, to learn from their OWN felt sense of what feels yummy, delicious, even when it hurts so good.
I want people to discover how to be their OWN teacher,
their OWN mentor,
their OWN master.
I want to support people in developing the ability to listen to themselves,
to guide themselves,
to learn how to relate to the intelligence in their body as a friend, a colleague, and a companion on the journey of self exploration.

The myth that the "integrity" of Gyrotonic, of Classical Pilates, or any other movements system/method/approach could be maintained/controlled/regulated by a "Headquarters", an "Alliance" or any other regulating agency has always been inaccurate.
Standards of excellence can never be imposed from the outside. It is up to each of us to embody the principles we have explored, to share how to train with compassionate self-discipline, how to develop/cultivate bio-mechanical efficiency, and move and be in the world with grace.
It's up to each of us to maintain this integrity within our own practice, our own approach to teaching, our own bodies.
No outside institution could, or should ever have been expected to do that for us.
Innovation is not the problem, it is the solution.
