Meet one of our dental assistants- Abi! We asked her what she loves most about her job and she said “I love knowing that I can make kids feel comfortable and seen when they come in. This is a new environment for most patients and the screaming and crying is all understandable. This is a judgement free zone and I personally have the patience to be in this field. I have previous experience working with children whether it was watching them grow at daycares or teaching in afterschool programs. Kids communicate with more than just words and I learn from them everyday.” Abi has been with this practice for 3 years and wanted to show her creative capacities, she is now our social media manager and does an amazing job! We’ve gotten so many compliments on our recent posts and we appreciate all the love! 😁✨💜
Meet one of our dental assistants, Gloria! We asked Gloria what made her choose this career path and she said: "What made me choose this career path is that I love working with kids and also making them feel that going to the dentist is a fun and safe place." Gloria has such a sweet demeanor which makes all of our patients feel special and heard.
She truly knows how to make an anxious patient feel at ease. Parents are so appreciative for how calm and patient all the assistants are. Many have asked us if we had to take a course on how to work with kids. This is the biggest compliment because there are no designated classes on how to communicate with kids, we are here because we love what we do! Our personal experiences growing up, led us to being the change we wanted to see
Happy Monday! Today we would like to share some benefits of using fluoride toothpaste. We've also created a chart that will give you a clear visual of how much toothpaste is safe to use at home. As a pediatric dental office we focus on preventative care and building healthy habits. We give in-office tutorials to our kiddos on how to brush with an electric/manual toothbrush and floss. 🦷🪥💜
