Expanding access to compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care is at the heart of everything I do.

I am so proud to share that I have officially obtained my Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Florida! ☀️

This milestone is deeply personal and intentional. Florida is home to vibrant Latino communities, including immigrant families who face immense stress and fear related to ICE detention facilities and systemic barriers.

Obtaining my license allows me to show up for this resilient community—offering a safe, bilingual space rooted in social justice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.

And yes—I tackled this licensing milestone while co-planning our upcoming All Moms Are Working Moms event! 🎟️

Balancing clinical work, advocacy, and community building takes a village, which brings me to a quick update:

Behind the scenes of holding space for others, building a career, and raising human beings…

For a long time, I felt like I was constantly pulling myself in two different directions. How do you remain a warm, loving, present mom while honoring the part of me that is wildly ambitious, driven, and focused on my professional purpose?

Here’s the truth I’ve learned: We don’t have to choose. We get to be both.

It hasn’t always been easy navigating that balance, and the struggle to show up fully in both spaces is real. But that exact struggle inspired me to build something bigger—a community created specifically for working moms who are doing the delicate dance of nurturing their families while chasing their professional dreams.
