Did you know we do custom cabinetry?
Better question: did you know that’s where we started?

Kappler began as a millwork and cabinetry workshop in Germany in 1947. Nearly eight decades later, craftsmanship isn’t simply part of our history. It’s still built into the spaces we design.
For this Women’s Health Center, we designed both the interiors and the cabinetry, giving us the opportunity to consider the room as a whole rather than cabinetry as something added afterward.

Our standard cabinetry offers considerable freedom in finish and expression. And when the project calls for something entirely its own, we design custom cabinetry specifically for the space, workflow, and practice.
We didn’t add cabinetry to our design services. We built our design practice from it.

The waiting area at Polish Dental NoHo wasn't designed around waiting.
It's designed around choice.
A sofa for settling in. A built-in bench for a quick pause. Oversized mirrors that draw light through the room. Greenery that softens the edges. Walls washed in warm, subtle tones. Artwork that rewards a second glance.
Less "waiting room." More a collection of places to land.
A small detail perhaps. Then again, first impressions usually are.

Welcome to Polish Dental, our newest project in the heart of NoHo, New York City. Designed for Dr. Michael Behrouzian, the space was created around a simple but powerful vision: to build something meaningful and lasting that patients can feel confident in for years to come.

From the moment patients arrive, they're met with warm materials, thoughtful details, and an atmosphere that feels calm, welcoming, and reassuring. Every design decision was made to help ease anxiety, build trust, and create an experience that feels distinctly different from a traditional dental office.
