Now that Venus has returned to Libra there is a bit of a turn here. She does so in order to restore the balance, and bring greater harmony into our lives.

Venus will soon be returning to the early dawn sky as a faint morning star, becoming quite visible by November 8th.

This is also symbolic of some sort of healing journey taking place over the next several months. What Venus brings to the surface from the underworld, will help to make that healing journey all that much more successful. This is a week of adjustments. It is also a week to bring us more in alignment with our true purpose and destiny. There is a lot that Venus is bringing with her, as she makes her debut back out on to the morning skies.

This week could serve as a turning point in our lives. A powerful Hunter’s Moon on October 25th/26th accompanied by the retrograde station of Mercury on Saturday, is filled with intensity, urgency and a righteous sense of survival. Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize. And we can get a tremendous amount done in our lives. Just make sure all this activity is being balanced with moments of retreat and the inner reflection that is needed at these times. We’ve got this.

The Full Moon on Sunday/Monday is best viewed Sunday night as it rises in the East with the setting of the Sun in the West.

Planets are so much stronger when they station. Pluto all the more so as retrograde Venus serves as an es**rt for the denizen of the Underworld.

This week retrograde Venus makes the 2nd of 3 squares to Pluto, which only just stationed on Thursday, ending its own retrograde phase. The first square on September 15th was making us aware of an issue. This second square is when we address the underlying issues standing in our way. The work we do within the bounds of the retrograde phase of Venus allows us to then better resolve the issues with the 3rd square on December 9th. Pluto transits are always about transformation. And so it is.

The New Moon in Libra
with VENUS retrograde square MARS

On Saturday, October 10th, we have a New Moon at 17º Libra 22’. The New Moon in Libra speaks to fairness, equality and reciprocity. It speaks to the natural flow of giving and receiving between individuals that feeds healthy co-equal relationships.

This year, Venus, the ruling planet of the Libra Moon, now retrograde and in the sign of Scorpio, is busy navigating the deeper depths of connecting that can make relationships a bit more complicated. Just know that in the end it is for the better good.

VENUS stations RETROGRADE October 3rd
PERSEPHONE descends into the UNDERWORLD
FIXED T-SQUARE (Mars opposite Pluto square Mercury/Venus)

When Venus, the planet of the divine Feminine, appears to station for its retrograde phase in the sign of Scorpio, it can bring up issues surrounding sexuality, women’s roles, and all the associated underlying wounds still embedded in the psyche of our society. Stay posted. Venus is retrograde from October 3rd thru November 14th, and will soon be banished from the heavens by the rays of the Sun. However, she remains undaunted. No matter what setbacks she might endure, whatever wounds are being revealed, the divine Feminine will rise again.

On Saturday (or Friday, depending on where you are in the world) Venus stations for her descent into the underworld. Stationing for her retrograde phase at 8º Scorpio 29’ she dives deep, greeting the shades of yesteryear, all that we had loved and lost, all that had touched our hearts and soul, our desires, our passions, our sorrows and joys.

A PERFECT STORM ~ THE FULL HARVEST MOON

A GRAND CROSS IN THE FIXED SIGNS

As Mars gradually positions itself for a direct opposition to Pluto, we may all be subjected to the exhaustion this transit can bring. Use the weather this week to seek healing, rehabilitation and strengthening to compensate. But most of all use the glorious Full Harvest Moon to connect with your innermost knowing and wisdom to guide you through the treacherous reefs and shoals that can await us when Mars opposes Pluto.

So what might we expect when the diluvian lord of the seas dives into the fiery realm of Aries, whilst Aries-ruler, Mars, is embroiling itself in a very fraught Fixed sign Grand Cross over the next few weeks. Like an astrological perfect storm, we are navigating some rough waters of our own this week. Bring life preservers, stretchers and maybe a few fire extinguishers along for the ride, this could get tense as we move further into the week.

THE LIBRA EQUINOX 2026
MABON & The emerging Crone

Mabon, the Autumnal Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere, is a time of gratitude. It is also when we celebrate the emerging Crone, the goddess of the winter months. The Crones were the elders who carried the wisdom of the ages on their shoulders, which had been gathered and honed through sheer experience.

In ancient times they served as the story tellers, the teachers, the healers and guides who lead the way. And for each of us, there is this recognition that we are entering this dark time of year in order to go within, and meet our own inner Crone. We do this to assimilate all that we have gained, all we have lost and learned, not only so that we can better plan for the year ahead, but to be able to connect with spirit, so that we may never lose sight of what really matters in the end.

Use it to find your footing, follow through with pending changes, and get your life in order. There is much more than meets the eye with this Moon.
