I think growing up happens little by little. You learn one thing, then another, and suddenly something that used to feel hard feels normal. 😊
I still have a lot to learn, and I’m okay with that. I like figuring things out, trying things on my own, and getting a little better every day.
Maybe that’s part of why I want to be a doctor someday. 🩺✨
What did you want to be when you were a kid? 👇

We grew up as a doctor’s kids, so health, habits, and the “why” behind everyday routines were always part of the conversation.

And yes, as kids, we may not have loved doing household chores.

But now we understand there’s actually some science behind why they can matter.

Long-term research has linked doing age-appropriate chores in childhood with greater self-sufficiency later in life.

And when you think about what chores actually teach, it makes sense:

• Responsibility — something is yours to take care of
• Follow-through — you finish the task even when it isn’t fun
• Independence — you learn to do things without someone stepping in
• Problem-solving — you figure out how to get things done
• Confidence — you start building the feeling of “I can handle this”

It was never just about making the bed, cleaning a room, or helping with dishes.

Those small responsibilities can become practice for much bigger ones later in life.

Of course, chores alone don’t determine who a child becomes. But looking back, we understand why those little everyday tasks mattered more than we realized at the time.

Did you have chores growing up?

🧦 **SOCKTOBER IS BACK!** 🧦

Last year, we collected **2,500 pairs of socks** for people in need, and this year we want to DOUBLE it!

🎯 **Our goal: 5,000 pairs of socks!**

We started Socktober because we learned that socks are one of the most requested items at homeless shelters. It seemed like such a simple way for kids like us to actually help.

And the giving is the BEST part. 💙

Help us reach 5,000 pairs this October!

🧦 Donate new socks
📍 Drop them off at any Health Hero Pharmacy location
💵 Or donate money and **we’ll do the sock shopping for you!**

👉 **NandiBros.com/Socktober**

Socks are being donated to Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, MI and Volunteers of America shelters across America!

Let’s see how many people we can help together!

Socktober is our initiative that started after we learned that socks are one of the most needed but least donated items for people experiencing homelessness. 🧦

People often donate coats, shirts, or shoes, but socks are easy to forget. For someone who spends a lot of time outside, clean and warm socks can make a real difference.

That’s why every October, we ask our community to help us change that.

Last year, together, we collected 2,500 pairs of socks, and this year we’re aiming for 5,000.

For us, Socktober is a reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be something huge. Sometimes even a simple donation can make someone’s day a little better. ❤️

Will you join us this Socktober and help someone who really needs it?

It’s about movement with purpose.

Our parents have always taught us that movement shouldn’t be something you only do because you’re “supposed to exercise.”

It becomes much more natural when there’s a reason behind it.

When movement is connected to something meaningful, you don’t think as much about forcing yourself to be active. You’re focused on what you’re doing, what you’re learning, or what you’re trying to accomplish — and movement happens along the way.

That matters because the healthiest habits are usually the ones that can actually stay part of your life.

For us, movement with purpose means building a life where being active isn’t a separate task.

It’s simply part of how you live.

Healthy swaps only work if you actually want to eat them.

We’ve learned that the best options are usually the simple ones — familiar foods, easy to pack, and realistic enough to become part of your routine instead of something you try once and forget.

A snack can look “healthy” on paper, but if it tastes boring, gets soggy in a backpack, or takes too much effort to make, it probably won’t last long in real life.

For us, the goal is finding small swaps that still feel fun, satisfying, and easy enough to repeat.

What’s one “healthy swap” you actually enjoy enough to keep buying?
