Since 1985, the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children (ARFC) has met the changing needs of children and families affected by AIDS through the following programs:

St. Clare’s Homes for Children (Jersey City, Elizabeth, Neptune, NJ), 1987

In continuing its mission to serve youth, ARFC opened a unique after-school program to address the specific educational and psychosocial needs of children living with, affected, or orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Brighter Beginnings Transitional Housing Program, 2012
ARFC provides transitional housing for HIV-positive women re-entering the community from previous incarceration. Project Nest Transitional Housing Program, 2016
Project Nest is a unique initiative—providing holistic patient-centered care through medical support, supportive housing, therapeutic/substance-abuse counseling, and academic and employment support, to young men facing discrimination, exploitation, and homelessness. The goal of this program is to empower young HIV-positive gay/bisexual youth to overcome previous hardship and stigma, further enabling them to seek healthier life-sustaining behaviors in their transition to adulthood.
