Last Saturday was such a beautiful evening of community, connection, and hope!

The Right Transition was proud to be a sponsor of RiverWoods’ Illuminate Tomorrow gala benefiting the Seacoast Dementia Hub, a cause so close to our hearts. We’re grateful to be part of a community that comes together to support people living with dementia and the families who care for them.

Through our work and our own personal experiences, we know how much caregivers give of themselves. Having support, guidance, and someone who understands can make such a difference.

One of the most moving moments of the evening was hearing Jay Allen perform his song “Blank Stares.” Inspired by his mother’s journey with Alzheimer’s, it’s a powerful reminder of the love and personal stories behind this cause.

Are you an empty nester, a retired business owner or CEO, or someone looking for a new way to put your experience to work? Maybe you’ve spent years volunteering, organizing events, coordinating projects, or leading teams. Those skills could be a wonderful fit on our team.

We’re looking for a Transition Specialist with a path to Team Lead to join our team.

This is hands-on, meaningful work supporting older adults and families through some of life’s most emotional transitions.

You’ll be:

• organizing and packing with care
• helping clients make difficult decisions
• creating calm in stressful environments
• setting up new homes with intention

You’ll learn our methods alongside our team, with the goal of growing into leading projects and guiding others.

This role starts part-time (10–20 hours/week) and is based in the Newmarket, NH area.

It’s a strong fit for someone who is:

• compassionate and patient
• detail-oriented and organized
• comfortable taking initiative and supporting a team
• interested in growing into a leadership role
• proficient with smartphones, computers, and apps

We’ll teach you our systems, but confidence using technology is essential. Previous senior move management experience is a plus, but not required.

This work requires both physical effort and emotional presence. It matters deeply.

This role is perfect for someone who:
• loves organizing and creating order
• has a compassionate, patient nature
• can work independently and as part of a team
• wants flexible, part-time work (10–20 hours/week)

You’ll be helping with:
✔ sorting and organizing
✔ packing and unpacking
✔ coordinating moves and logistics
✔ setting up new homes with care

This is deeply meaningful work. You’re not just moving belongings, you’re helping people through one of life’s biggest transitions.

Sometimes transformation doesn’t take months.

Sometimes it happens between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM - on moving day.

This is just one small glimpse of the work we did in 2025, helping clients move from one home to another with care, intention, and respect for what matters most to them.

We’re deeply grateful for the trust families placed in us and for the relationships that came from walking alongside them during meaningful moments of change.

Thank you to the Portsmouth Senior Center for the wonderful job they did today at the Senior Living Health and Wellness Expo this year!! Sharing resources and meeting so many wonderful people was such a treat! Hank from Hug Patrol and Joan from The Right Transition LLC had a blast and came up with some great ideas with future projects! :)
