Rest, recovery, and finding the right sleeping position.

After breast augmentation, finding a comfortable sleeping position can take some getting used to. We typically recommend sleeping on your back with your upper body slightly elevated to help reduce swelling and avoid putting pressure on your breasts.

Dr. Russo wants you to sleep well throughout your recovery, not spend your nights tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. Getting plenty of quality rest is an important part of the healing process, so don’t hesitate to ask us for tips on making those first few nights after surgery easier!
