As an athlete I was motivated from the young age of 13 to improve my exercise performance. I even woke up early before school, just so I could follow along with Denise Austin! By the time I was 20, I was a personal trainer and nutritionist through the American Council on Exercise and Apex Nutrition. Eventually, as I grew older my focus moved from just enhancing physical performance to maintaining
my fitness, and my clients too! Instead of making huge gains in the gym, I was more interested in how to prolong my health and level of fitness, via anti-aging regenerative medicine and supplements. In 1998, I started working with the supplement manufacturer “Atlas Operations” out of Pompano Beach, Florida. The owner was intrigued in anti-aging and Holistic medicine. My time at Atlas is where I learned, how to manufacture, develop and flavor products with all natural ingredients. I spent my time learning with some of the most respected educators, formulators, and master herbalists. I created, developed, and manufactured over 40 unique dietary supplement products for Clayton College of Natural medicine. I also worked with several PHD chemists such as Dr. Alexander Hammer and Dr. John Sperdone. Additionally, I was an understudy to Dr. Jim Nera a Naturopathic Doctor from 1996-1999. I took classes at Clayton College of Natural Medicine and learned about Ayurveda, Tibetan Medicine, Chakra Alignment, Chinese Traditional Medicine, and the ancient arts of various Holistic Medicine. As my scientific knowledge increased, I started creating products in my contract manufacturing facility located in Norcross, Ga called “Sci-Tech Manufacturing, Inc.” We landed the Vitamin Shoppe Corporate account and eventually we were private labeling a product we created that was sold into every Walmart Supercenter here in the USA. My mantra now and then remains the same - every product must be Holistic in nature, quality shouldn’t be compromised for cost, and every product should be clinically efficacious. What good is it if you purchase a cheaper product and it doesn't work?
