Who says exercise can’t be fun? 🥰

Today, Dr. Crystal, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, enjoyed a little one-on-one volleyball with one of our wonderful participants at Rosewell Adult Day Center!

At Rosewell, we believe in meeting our participants where they are, encouraging movement, and making every moment meaningful! 💕

🏐 Volleyball isn’t just about hitting the ball back and forth. It’s about promoting hand-eye coordination, physical activity, social engagement, and most importantly, having FUN!

Whether it’s a group activity or a little one-on-one attention, our goal is to keep our participants active, engaged, smiling, and feeling valued.

Who says pets have to be real to bring real joy? 🥰

At Rosewell Adult Day Center, we believe that happiness comes in all shapes, sizes, and even with batteries! 💕

Meet Fluffy, our adorable toy dog, and Whiskers, our sweet toy cat! 🐶🐱 Fluffy loves to bark, while Whiskers joins the conversation with the cutest little meows!

Interactive companion pets can bring so much joy, laughter, comfort, and companionship to older adults. They can also encourage conversation, social interaction, and nurturing behaviors — all without the responsibilities of caring for a live pet.

Sometimes it’s the simplest things that bring the biggest smiles! ❤️

I’ve already started going through my different spaces and pulling together items to donate for our Raising Kin Foundation Community Yard Sale on September 26th! 🛍️💛
