Do you want a job where your work genuinely makes a difference in the lives of young adults? We are looking for an Independent Living/Social Coordinator to join the Sooner Works team!

This is a unique opportunity to support college students with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they:
✨ Develop independent living skills
✨ Build friendships and meaningful relationships
✨ Navigate college and residential life
✨ Become more engaged in their campus and community

You’ll also have the opportunity to teach inclusive education courses, facilitate skill development, create inclusive social opportunities, and work alongside an amazing team committed to person-centered practices and inclusive postsecondary education.

If you are passionate about disability inclusion, college access, independent living, and helping young adults reach their goals, we’d love to hear from you!

Sooner Works was excited to welcome our newest students to campus and help make their transition to college life a little smoother. From unloading cars to sharing smiles, it was an incredible day filled with excitement, connection, and Sooner spirit.

From representing Special Olympics Oklahoma at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games to being a RUF/NEK Lil’ Sis at the University of Oklahoma, Addie is showing what’s possible when you chase your dreams.

Now, she’s using her voice and social media platform to be a role model for others in the Down syndrome community to dream big and go for it! 🌟
