Ayama Yoga Our vision is to provide a sacred space for healing and personal transformation. Our center offers A sacred space for healing and personal transformation.

A-yama is a Sanskrit word that means to expand, to extend, to manifest beyond restrains, to release, to liberate. All of our classes are hands-on, where mixed level practitioners of all ages find individualized attention, knowledgeable help and nurturing guidance. To complement the practice of Yoga, Ayama offers a wide selection of holistic healing arts, such as Qigong, Acupuncture, Reiki, Massage therapies, Transformational Breathing, Holistic Nutrition, Hypnotherapy, and other treatments. We are dedicated to serving the community with alternative and integral ways of understanding and experiencing wellbeing and personal evolution. A specially designed space with dim light, candles, sacred music and superb acoustics make it easy to turn inwards and engage in the journey.

A different way to move, strengthen, stretch, and recover. ✨

Join us November 14 for Explore the Hammock, a 2-hour workshop with Ksenia Gundarova and Petr Morozov.
We’ll explore the aerial hammock beyond traditional aerial yoga, using suspension and gravity to work on three essential elements of movement:

✦ Mobility — Explore flexibility, range of motion, and body awareness through supported stretching.
✦ Strength — Build core stability, grip strength, balance, and control. Experiment with the hammock as a tool for strength training and inversions.
✦ Recovery — Slow down with gentle traction, supported movement, and relaxation techniques.

Ksenia brings 10 years of aerial experience, while Petr has over 13 years of experience coaching strength and mobility, including work with Cirque du Soleil performers.
Together, they’ll introduce practical ways to incorporate the hammock into your movement practice.
No previous aerial experience required. All curious movers welcome!

📅 Saturday, November 14 | 1–3 PM
📍 Ayama Yoga & Healing Arts, North Miami Beach
Reserve your hammock through the link in our bio. ❤️

SANTOṢA | सन्तोष
Contentment. Satisfaction. A sense of enough.
In the Yoga Sūtras, santoṣa is one of the five niyamas, or personal observances, and is associated with a profound sense of happiness.

Yoga Sūtra 2.42:
सन्तोषादनुत्तमसुखलाभः
santoṣād anuttamaḥ sukha-lābhaḥ
“From contentment comes unsurpassed happiness.”
What I find interesting about santoṣa is that contentment doesn’t have to mean complacency. We can still have ambitions, work toward change, and seek new experiences without making our happiness entirely dependent on what comes next.

Perhaps contentment is less about having everything we want and more about recognizing what is already here.
A little Sanskrit philosophy from Ayama. 🌿

Friday evenings at Ayama. 🌙
Something different to look forward to each week. Movement, rest, and a little time to connect with yourself and others.
We’ve made space on Friday evenings for three recurring experiences:
1st Fridays · Maternal Yoga
A gentle, restorative practice for expecting mothers and their partners, with space to slow down, connect, and prepare for the journey ahead. Babies are welcome, too.
2nd & 4th Fridays · Reiki Circle & Sound Healing
An evening of relaxation, energy work, and sound with Adriana. Come unwind, rest, and enjoy a little stillness at the end of the week.
3rd Fridays · Belly Dance
Explore movement, rhythm, and self-expression with Victoria. No dance experience necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to move.
All sessions begin at 7:30 PM.
Whether you’re a regular at Ayama or haven’t visited us yet, we’d love to see you at one of these gatherings.

Setting an intention before we move. 🤍

A moment with Dana at the beginning of class — taking time to arrive, breathe, and give the practice a direction.

Practice with Dana each week at Ayama:

Mondays · 9:30 AM
Yoga Calisthenics

Wednesdays · 9:30 AM
Hatha Yoga — Deep Flexibility

Wednesdays · 7:30 PM
Power Vinyasa

Three different practices, three different ways to explore strength, mobility, flexibility, and awareness.

Book your class through the Ayama schedule. 🌿

A little more space to breathe.

Seated side bends lengthen the side body — through the ribs, waist and muscles around the spine — while giving the breath a little more room to expand into areas we don’t always notice.

Sometimes coming back to practice can be just as simple. If it’s been a while since we’ve seen you at Ayama, DM us “COME BACK” for $15 off your next class. 🤍

We’d love to have you back.
