Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, which means next weekend belongs to the costumes.

So this is the weekend to get the refills handled. Nobody wants to be chasing down a prescription on the 31st with a tired kid in the car and a plastic pumpkin in the back seat.

Have a look at what you are running low on, and let us get it ready before the busy one lands.

We are on West Leota, open Saturday.

Ask who owns your pharmacy. It is a fair question, and the answer tells you a lot.

Ours are Bill Snodgrass and Travis Covey. Not a region. Not a district. This one.

That means when something needs sorting out, the person who can actually decide is in the building. Nobody has to send your problem up a chain and wait to hear back.

You will find us at 211 West Leota Street in North Platte.

Here is something folks forget we do. We deliver, free, right here in town.

You do not have to come out in the weather. You do not have to wait on somebody to bring it to you. Tell us at the counter or give us a call, and your medication comes to your door.

Folks who are laid up. Folks working doubles. Folks who would rather not scrape a windshield for a bottle of pills. That is what it is for.

We are on West Leota. Ask us about delivery next time you are in.

More goes through the drive-thru than people think.

Pick up, sure. But also drop off a new prescription without parking. Ask a question without coming inside. Collect an order for a parent, a neighbor, or a kid asleep in the back seat.

Three lanes means five o'clock does not have to mean a line.

Bad weather, a short lunch break, a car full of groceries that should not sit. Swing through instead.

Swipe through all five. We are at 211 West Leota Street.

Five questions we get at the counter about walk-in vaccines, answered before you come in.

No, you do not need an appointment. Walk in during store hours and we will take care of you.

Most folks are in and out in about fifteen minutes, counting the short wait afterward. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID, and your vaccination record card if you keep one.

Not sure what we have on hand right now? Ask us, we can tell you in under a minute. And if you would rather talk it through with the pharmacist first, you can do that without an appointment either.

Swipe through, then walk in when it suits you. 211 West Leota Street.

The best thing a pharmacy can be is predictable.

Same faces behind the counter. Your refill where you expect it, when you expect it. The same answer to the same question on a Tuesday as on a Saturday.

Nobody ever bragged about an exciting trip to the pharmacy, and that is exactly the point. Boring is the goal. Boring means your week got easier instead of harder.

That is what we are going for on West Leota.

Sunday night at the kitchen table, sorting a week into little plastic squares.

Seven days across, four compartments down. It has to happen again next Sunday, and if you lose your place halfway through, the whole tray turns into a question.

Nobody signed up for that job, and you do not have to keep it.

We can package your medications by day and by time before they ever leave here, so the sorting is already done when you pick them up. Ask us about it at the counter on West Leota.

10/15/2026

The one stretch of the year you can change your Medicare drug plan opens Thursday.

October 15 through December 7. That is the window. After it closes, the plan you are on is the plan you keep for the year.

Most folks never look. Then January shows up and something has changed without them.

So bring your list in. We will put what is out there up against what you actually take, and if the plan you already have is the right one, we will tell you that too. Costs you nothing, and there is nothing to sign that day.

We are on West Leota.

More than fifty years on West Leota, and the street is not the only thing that stayed.

Plenty has changed inside. Free in-town delivery. Three drive-thru lanes. Pill packaging and medication sync, so your refills land together instead of scattered across the month.

What has not changed: Bill Snodgrass and Travis Covey still run this pharmacy, you still walk up to a counter instead of into a queue, and you still talk to the person who can actually do something about it.

Swipe through what is still the same and what is new.

North Platte, settle something for us.

What is the one thing you wish your pharmacy just handled for you? The errand, the phone call, the paperwork, the thing you keep meaning to get around to.

Tell us in the comments. If it is something we can take off your plate, we would rather hear it than guess.
