There is something so beautifully interconnected about motherhood. 🤍

From the very beginning, a mother and her baby are more than two individuals—they are deeply connected in body, nourishment, comfort, and relationship. Caring for mama is caring for baby, too.

That’s why maternal care matters. Your nutrition, rest, emotional well-being, and physical health are all important pieces of the journey.

As midwives, we believe in caring for the whole mother—not just the pregnancy or the birth. Because when mama is supported, baby benefits too. 🫶🏼

Some days the floor is covered in Legos, the laundry is winning, and you step on the same Lego for the 47th time… 😂🧱

But mama, a messy house doesn’t make you a bad mom. ❤️

Your children won’t remember whether the floor was spotless—they’ll remember the love, laughter, snuggles, and time you spent with them.

So take a deep breath, step carefully, and give yourself some grace. 😉🫶

Pregnancy is a beautiful season of growing, nurturing, and caring for both you and your baby. ❤️

You don’t need to “eat for two,” but you do need nourishing, wholesome foods that support your changing body and your growing little one. Think balance, variety, and listening to your body. 🥑🥬🍓

Give yourself grace, choose foods that fuel you well, and remember that nourishing yourself is part of nourishing your baby. 🤍
