It is a powerful time of year - when the veils between the worlds are thinning - and a potent time to celebrate all we have done and release what no longer serves us.

Come join with others in a community ritual to celebrate the full Hunter’s moon next Friday!

Went up to Harrisville New Hampshire to see some foliage and happened upon an art tour through the renovated mill buildings.

We were TAKEN IN by Harrisville Designs and the beautiful displays of healthy houseplants and gorgeous colors. Oooh makes me wish I was a fiber artist, but I haven’t the patience for it.

The textures and colors were so tempting though!

Then we took a walk on the trail behind the mills in the town center and it was lovely.
A sweet full stream running through the woods and dappled light beneath the yellow leaves. ❤️

Delicious Thai food from the food truck in Brattleboro, eaten at the picnic table near the marina, watching the sunset and listening to the geese chatter.
They were noisy!

Color on an evening walk.
We’ve been trying to get out even though it is getting dark earlier.
It is such a beautiful time of year but you can feel winter coming right around the corner.
Getting out into the early evening lets me enjoy this time while the light is still here and the leaves are so bright and lively in the wind. 🍁

All the houseplants are in now.
Settled into their new spots.
Their leaves are shiny from rain and used to bright sunshine.
I always feel a bit sad for them during this transition, suddenly in the cool house just getting sun for a fraction of the day.
But so far they seem happy enough and it thrills me to see them lining the windows and jostling for space.

What fun!
Went to Choir! Choir! Choir! event BOMBYX Center for Arts+Equity earlier in the month and it was amazing!
The place was sold out and filled with rowdy people ready to sing. The theme was Fleetwood Mac and the guys leading us in song were so funny and uniting - we all laughed and sang and left feeling very joyful.

What a great event.
I’ve loved watching their videos for years and it was 100 times better in person. Thanks Nooni Hammarlund for inviting me. 🙏❤️

The project when I got home from the meditation retreat was to clean off our house plants that were outside where it was getting too chilly for them to be.

We washed them with a tiny bit of unscented Castile soap to get rid of dirt and bugs. I didn’t spray them liberally with neem oil this year because last year some of them really didn’t like it. We rinsed them off and repotted whoever had gotten too big for their pots.

It was a delightful physical and tactile way to reintegrate back with the world.
