You may have heard that the City of Northfield is considering offering organics recycling to all residents through the city. We are in full support of this!
The city will not be “competing” with us. We will get to bid on the contract like any other company, and we believe that we can offer a competitive bid. City-wide organics recycling is the best path forward for our business and the best path forward for composting in Northfield.
Email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Make it part of your market habits to swing by the Curbside Compost Cooperative booth before you throw anything in the trash. They can tell from a mile away if something can be composted or not. And, they have a compost can right on site where they take away all of our market compost every week (thank you!). Plus, you get to pet their sweet dog, Cardamom.🪱🍃
