Vibrational Sound Practitioner and Death Doula, Cassandra Milone will facilitate an evening of reflection, curiosity, and deep listening as we explore our relationship with death, dying, loss, and the emotions that may arise when we bring someone we love to mind.
Thurs. 10/22, 6-8pm
This experience begins with a guided meditation and imagery. You will be invited to gently focus on one person in your life who may be nearing death, actively dying, or who has already died. Rather than looking for a particular emotion or outcome, you will simply be invited to become curious about what arises.
What do you notice in your heart?
What sensations do you notice in your body?
What memories, emotions, or thoughts surface?
It might be love, sadness, anger, fear, tenderness, relief, gratitude, heartache, peace, confusion, or something entirely unexpected. There is no right feeling and no wrong feeling. This is simply an opportunity to notice what is present without judgment.
From there, we will move into a Sound Journey, allowing the vibrations to create space for whatever has surfaced. Rather than trying to understand or change the experience, you will be invited to simply listen, feel, breathe, and allow the sound to meet you where you are.
Following the sound journey, there will be time for quiet journaling and reflection before we gently come back together as a small group. There will be an opportunity to share and hold space for one another tapping into our active listening skills, while honoring that everyone’s experience may be different.
This is not about finding answers or forcing a release. It is about creating enough space to become curious about what we carry within us and giving ourselves permission to feel, express, witness, or simply be with whatever is there.
An evening to slow down.
To listen.
To connect.
To feel without judgment.
And perhaps to discover something you didn't know was waiting to be felt.
