This weekend, we had the honor of creating a meal for a gathering that held so much love.

Family and friends came together to remember and celebrate the life of a deeply loved four-legged family member; sharing stories, memories, food, and time together.

There is something incredibly meaningful about gathering around during life’s most tender moments. We were truly honored to be trusted with such an intimate occasion and to create a meal that allowed everyone to simply be together, remember, and celebrate a life that meant so much.

Meet Chef Halee!

With over 16 years of culinary experience, Halee brings an incredible background in fine dining, private chef services, catering, and culinary leadership.

She has a passion for creating fresh, seasonal meals and tailoring each menu to the unique tastes and dietary needs of the families she cooks for. Her creativity, attention to detail, and love for bringing people together through food make her such a wonderful addition to our team.

Last Saturday, we had the honor of cooking for Mom’s Dinner & Dialogue: Redefining Motherhood dinner.

When we were first approached with the concept for this event, we immediately knew we wanted to be a part of it. An evening created to bring mothers together around the table to connect, have meaningful conversations, share their experiences, and explore what motherhood looks like in all of its different seasons.

We couldn’t wait to create a menu that complemented such a meaningful evening.

There’s something incredibly special about the way food brings people together. It creates a reason to gather, a place to slow down, and a table where conversations and connections can happen naturally.

We’re so grateful Uproot Culinary was invited to play a small part in creating that experience.

Thank you for trusting us with your table Gwen Pelfini and Sura Hertzberg, LMFT. It was truly an honor to be part of an evening centered around connection, community, and redefining motherhood.
