3 SIMPLE SUPPLEMENTS TO SUPPORT YOUR ENERGY THIS FALL
Feeling more tired as the days get shorter? Before reaching for another coffee, let’s look at what your body might be missing.
1. Vitamin D3
Less sunshine can mean less opportunity to make vitamin D. If your levels are low, getting them back into a healthy range supports normal muscle and immune function.
2. Vitamin B12
This vitamin helps your body make healthy red blood cells and supports your nervous system. If you’re low, you may feel tired, weak, or foggy. More isn’t necessarily better if your levels are already adequate.
3. Iron and its cofactors - ps have you had your levels checked?
Low iron / ferritin can leave you feeling exhausted, weak, and completely drained. Ask your provider about a CBC and ferritin test
My functional nutrition tip: Don’t just push through your fatigue or cover it up with caffeine. Get curious about WHY you’re tired.
Your body may need better nutrition, more restorative sleep, or help identifying an underlying issue.
You don’t need a cabinet full of supplements. You need to know what YOUR body needs.
Save this for your fall wellness routine!
