Did you know that even though Halley's Comet won't return to our skies until 2061, pieces of its ancient journey still light up our atmosphere every October? 🌠

As Earth travels through the debris left behind by this famous comet, tiny particles enter our atmosphere and create the beautiful streaks of light we call meteors.

🌙 WHEN TO WATCH:
The Orionids peak Wednesday night into Thursday morning, October 21–22.

This year, bright moonlight may hide some of the fainter meteors, so your best opportunity will be after the Moon sets, around 3 AM, until dawn.

✨ Find a dark, safe place away from bright lights.
✨ Give your eyes about 30 minutes to adjust.
✨ Look up and enjoy the sky — no telescope needed!
