Selectiveness isn’t a wall you build to glorify loneliness. It is a boundary you set in place to honor your sacredness. Selectivity is you honoring and upholding your values while saying - they don’t get to walk with me here unless they know how to tread holy. You aren’t lonely. You are a sacred being grandly remembering how to reclaim your wholeness.
And sometimes self respect can feel lonely.

Most people think beauty is something you wear.
Something outside of oneself. That you see it, point at it, want it. But beauty is a mirror that only works one way.
You cannot recognize plum black as depth unless depth lives in you.
You cannot recognize road runner as free unless freedom is running in your chest.
You cannot taste spring water as fresh unless you know what fresh feels like in your own mouth.
We don’t see the world as it is. We see the world as we are. The universe didn’t put beauty out there to tease you. It put it out there to reflect what’s inside.
That’s why some people can stare at the same sunset you cry over and feel nothing. It’s beauty that is not remembered within them yet.
That means everywhere you looked today and whispered “beautiful” - you were actually saying “l remember who I am.”
You are not seeing beauty. You are recognizing yourself. You recognize beauty outside of yourself because you recognize the beauty within. It IS because you ARE.❤️‍🔥

You don’t have to look outward to find it. You have to reflect inward to rediscover it.

A compass in your pocket tells you which way is north. The compass in your chest tells you which way is truth. North doesn’t change. But truth - your truth - ebbs and flows. It’s warm when it flows. Cold when it ebbs. It tightens within walls - softens within wells.

That’s why you feel it before you understand it. That’s not emotion - that is direction.

Society will try to convince you that you must follow a compass outside of yourself. But the universe already installed yours. Clear as the sky. Pure as the water. Strong as the fire. Direct as the wind.

Feel your way > find your way.

When life throws curveballs like death and sickness and uncertainties - taking some time to ground and move and process and find gratitude in the little things is a big step forward into the alchemy of such lessons being presented within such hardships. When we don’t bypass the grief but instead process it through the body mind and soul we rediscover the well vs another wall up around our soul.
That is when the lesson becomes you instead of breaks you. Well vs wall. The wall says: I won’t feel, I won’t see, I will distract. The well says: Come feel, come weep, come dance, come refill, come and be.

This poem isn’t a poem.
This is a remember-ing spell:

I take every word they burned us for and build a throne.

Witch. The one who knows.

Creatrix. The one who makes from nothing.

Goddess. The one who is source.

Queen. The one who rules her own inner kingdom.

Oh how the verbs are the initiation:

Not “wish for abundance.” Create.
Not “ask for power back.” Reclaim.
Not “run from darkness.” Alchemize.

Remember that our work is not to transcend the body, but to: Regenerate wellness. Grow nourishment. Harvest medicine. Not to escape the web, but to weave it.

You who have walked through fetal - through feral - you the thread - the loom - the weaver - you know..

To channel light you have to honor the dark. To infuse sanctity you have to grow it in the dirt first. To invoke ritual you have to honor the divine in the mundane.

The witch is sacred. Not despite her hands in the soil, but because of it. The witch is holy. Not despite her rage, but because of it.

The witch calls.

And you answered.

Long ago.

Remember.

You are her.

She remembers. She has come to know herself - deeply. Not as an idea. As a terrain. She has walked her own valleys. She has tended her own gardens. She doesn’t need to be understood. Understanding is lovely to receive in recognition but it is no longer necessary to her being.
She belongs to no one. Not because she is closed off. But because she finally belongs to herself. And from that belonging - she can truly be. Without masking. Without contorting.
Without breaking.
She chose herself. Not once. Again and again and again and again. Especially on the days it would have been easier to abandon herself to keep the peace. Every moment - a choice to choose herself.
She has met with the darkness. Sat with it.
Didn’t try to fix it with light. She let darkness teach her how to alchemize such into light.
She held what she used to hide. The rage. The grief. The wanting. The wild. The not-enough. Oh the not enough. She held it all in her own arms until it softened and released.
She chose to become her own witness - she no longer needs to be witnessed to exist. Her own lover - she no longer needs to be chosen to feel worthy. Her own guide - she no longer needs to be saved to find her way.
No longer shapeshifting to be chosen. No longer quieting her knowing to be kept. No longer outsourcing her safety to hands that couldn’t hold her.
She has come home. She has embodied that secure is not something she finds. It’s something she is.
She loves with immense depth - but she no longer allows demonic siphoning of the divine that is her. She opens fully - but she no longer abandons her own divine temple to please and protect another whom is lacking in divine consciousness.
That kind of beauty doesn’t seek attention - she just returns to herself and tends to the divinity she is.
There is something particularly beautiful about a woman no longer abandoning herself. She doesn’t need to seek secure attachment in another - she has become it. And from that space - love isn’t a rescue. It’s a divine dance.
