Hey all! I wanted to post a quick update about some USPS tracking issues we’ve been noticing lately.

Several packages have been sitting on “Label Created” with no acceptance scan at our local distribution center. What appears to be happening is that USPS is skipping these initial scans altogether, and some packages aren’t receiving their first tracking update for over a week, sometimes even longer.

I wanted to reassure everyone that while this is frustrating, it has become a fairly common occurrence lately and does not necessarily mean your package is lost. I originally thought this might have something to do with the new hazmat regulations that went into effect in July, but we’re also seeing it happen with non-hazmat shipments.

Please know that I’m keeping an eye on tracking and hoping things start moving along soon! I completely understand how frustrating it is to see no movement, especially when you’re excited for your order to arrive.

We are hoping to have all remaining orders shipped by the 14th.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to first say thank you for all the kind comments about Iggy. It has been quite the adjustment without him. 💕

We’re down to about 260 orders from over 1,100! 🤯 I honestly don’t know how we’ve done it! We’re hoping to have everything shipped by October 14th, still within our TAT.

October PPU shipped out today, and here’s a sneak peek of November’s “Beloved by Betty” for the Antiques & Oddities theme, inspired by a special pendant owned by Betty White that I purchased a few years ago! ❤️ $2 of every bottle sold will be donated to the Morris Animal Foundation.

I’m unsure if this shade will be capped as I’m waiting on bottles and want to ensure we have enough for Winter Rewind.

Hey everyone!

Kerry and I are still working away, although I’ll be honest, we’re feeling pretty unmotivated this week. I’m actually grateful we have orders to keep us busy though because the house has been so quiet without Iggy. It’s definitely been an adjustment. We appreciate all the kind comments.

I also wanted to mention that I did cap this month’s PPU. I mentioned it a few weeks ago, but with the amount of September orders we’re still working through, I just don’t have enough help to offer it uncapped this time. We’re also pretty emotionally drained from losing Iggy this week and truly can’t add more to our workload right now. Kerry has been pouring like crazy while I’m labeling and packing orders. I have packed around 400 orders so far with still quite a ways to go.

And some happy news: 3 Snaps in Turtle Formation raised $1,218 from 203 bottles for Turtle Survival Alliance, and Backyard Barbara raised $1,824 from 304 bottles for WildCare Oklahoma! I’m so grateful for you all making these donations possible. ❤️

Reposting here since I forgot to share yesterday.

Hi friends,

We’re still hard at work getting orders shipped out to you, and Kerry is still pouring. I wanted to mention that today we made the extremely difficult decision to let Iggy go.

He lived a long 12, almost 13 years with us. He originally came to us after Kerry’s mom adopted him and was no longer able to care for him, and he quickly became such a huge part of our family. He was the last of our original pack, which makes this loss feel especially heavy.

Iggy was so goofy, so special, and completely himself. Lately, he had been dealing with cognitive decline along with several other issues, and we knew it was time.

We are still working behind the scenes, but things may move a little slower while we grieve our sweet boy. We will miss him every single day.

We appreciate your patience and understanding so much. (Photo on the right is one I took years ago of him). ♥️

Thanks to everyone who purchased Mother to Kittens!

We sold 400 bottles, which means a $2,400 donation to the OKC Pet Food Pantry! What an amazing way to celebrate Levy’s birthday - even if we are celebrating a little early since his birthday isn’t until October!

I was also able to get 100 orders packed today! I only have a small handful of colors left to mix, and we are making great progress getting everything poured, packed, and out the door.

Hey friends!

I wanted to give a quick update on shipping! I have about 8 more colors left to mix, and Kerry is pouring like crazy. Since we’re a two-person team and this is the most orders we have ever received - I’m going to be doing some serious multitasking over the next few days.

My plan is to label more bottles today and tomorrow, then start packing and shipping the orders I can. This helps us keep things moving and prevents a huge backlog from building up while we continue mixing and pouring.

If you start seeing some people’s orders arriving before others, please know there’s no particular order or favoritism happening - we’re simply pushing out as many completed orders as we can while production is still going!

I also wanted to share the donation we made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. ✨ This is the largest amount of a charity polish I have ever sold, and I love so much that it was done in memory of Dolly while supporting something she was so passionate about.✨

🦋 We sold 807 bottles, which means a donation of $4,842 to the Imagination Library! 🦋

If there is any overpour of Smoky Mountain Songbird, it will be available sometime in the new year.
