Hey there, Pumpkin! 🎃

Our pumpkin theme week is HERE, and we are so excited! 🧡

One of our favorites is the pumpkin pie sensory bin, where little hands will scoop, pinch, and shake their way to make their own “pumpkin pie” 🥧 all while building hand strength, fine motor, and communication skills!

We have even more pumpkin-y fun planned this week, but you’ll have to wait and see 🤫

❓What’s your favorite pumpkin treat?

Mix, match, and make some monsters👹

Swapping heads, arms, and legs during play is secretly working on some big language skills like describing, categorizing, answering questions, appropriate requests, and more, all while building the silliest little creatures around.

What would you name his creations? Tell us below! 👇

Turn a car ride or waiting room wait into speech practice! 🚗

Instead of “I spy something red,” try “I spy something that starts with /s/!” This simple twist turns a classic game into a fun way to work on target sounds, without it ever feeling like “work.”

Swap in your child’s target sound and watch how quickly they start spying stars, snakes, and socks everywhere they go!

Save this for your next car ride or grocery trip! 🚙

Figuring it out, one bar at a time🐒

Monkey bars are a great problem-solving challenge! You have to figure out how far to reach, when to let go, and how to keep going even when it’s tricky!

We love working these same “stick with it” skills into speech therapy too, whether it’s a hard sound or a hard bar to reach 💪
