✨ GLOW UP ALERT! ✨🦷
Over time, dental work can become a patchwork of different colors and shapes. When restorations start to fail, do we keep patching or take a more comprehensive approach? 🤔

For this patient, a complete smile transformation was the answer! 🙌 Using the deprogrammer to open her bite, along with careful planning, we were able to design and create the smile of her dreams! ❤️😁

👏 A big shoutout to for delivering these gorgeous porcelain crowns!
Now her bite, health, and smile are all in harmony! 🫰✨ Form and function meet esthetics, and we couldn't be happier with the results!

Flavored water can help you drink more water, but some add-ins are harder on your tooth enamel than others.
✅ SMILE-FRIENDLY PICKS
🥒 Cucumber and mint
🍉 Watermelon
🫐 Blueberries
🍓 Strawberries and basil
🌿 Fresh herbs like rosemary
⚠️ SIP WITH CARE
🍋 Lemon, lime and orange: citrus is acidic and can wear down enamel over time
🫧 Sparkling water: the carbonation adds a bit of acid
🍬 Flavor drops and drink mixes: many contain hidden sugar or citric acid

💡 DR. PRUITT’S TIPS
👉 Drink citrus water with meals instead of sipping it all day
👉 Use a straw to keep acids off your teeth
👉 Rinse with plain water afterward
👉 Wait 30 minutes before you brush after acidic drinks

Dentists wear a lot of hats… and sometimes, that includes being a photographer. 📸🦷

Before-and-after photos are an important part of many dental visits and smile transformations. They help our team:
Document your smile’s starting point
Track changes in your oral health over time
Plan treatment with greater precision
Show you the progress you may not notice day to day
Celebrate the results of your hard work and care

Dr. Christina Pruitt’s favorite toothbrush? The Oral-B iO brush. 🪥

A great toothbrush does more than clean your teeth. It helps you build better brushing habits every day. Dr. Pruitt recommends the Oral-B electric brush because it gives you helpful feedback while you brush:
Green light = great pressure. You’re brushing effectively without being too rough on your gums.
Red light = ease up. Too much pressure can irritate gums and contribute to enamel wear.

A vibration every 30 seconds reminds you to move to the next area of your mouth, helping you spend enough time on all four quadrants.
After two minutes, you’ll have completed a dentist-recommended brushing routine from start to finish.

That built-in guidance can make a meaningful difference for patients of all ages, especially anyone who tends to brush too quickly or presses a little too hard.
Stop by our office to grab Dr. Pruitt’s favorite Oral-B brush and make your daily routine a little smarter!

Resin or Porcelain? One of the most commonly asked questions in cosmetic dentistry. We can accomplish our goals with either, most of the time. It comes down to tooth position, color, finances, and longevity. When cared for properly and teeth are NOT used like tools (no opening packages, chewing on nails, etc...) both can last a very long time.

This case (2 front teeth only) was completed by slightly recontouring the gingiva with a diode laser, then using resin bonding in 1 appointment (Ivoclar Empress Direct) with different opacities and opaques/tints to mimic the neighboring teeth. No modification of the underlying tooth structure.

Fully designed in-house using training and SprintRay 3D printer for our guide.

A bride and future dentist, plus a tight timeline...talk about pressure . This case took careful collaboration with our super talented lab technicians . We had an implant in site 7 which wasn't ideal, disproportionate centrals and a lateral with old bonding. Instead of trying to mix and match porcelain between the implant and 3 other teeth, we opted for a zirconia coping to get the implant to a "prepped" shape and treated it just like the adjacent teeth with feldspathic 7-10. Minimal prep to natural teeth by utilizing existing spaces.

It's such a cool case and truly mimics nature . It's a pleasure to help make this dentist/bride's smile wedding day ready
