Celebrating Healthcare Quality Week | October 18–24

Quality is at the heart of what we do at CHCS, and this week we’re recognizing the people who help make it happen every day.

Our Quality Manager, Manda Thompson, RN, CPHQ, helps drive our quality efforts across CHCS — working with teams to monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and keep patient safety and quality at the forefront.

And quality truly is a team effort. Every department and every employee plays a role in making sure our patients receive safe, effective, high-quality care.
That commitment has been recognized in several ways, including:

*CMS 5-Star recognition for patient experience for the second consecutive year
*Becker’s Top 100 Critical Access Hospital recognition
*American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines awards for heart and stroke care
These honors represent the work of our entire CHCS team.

A critical security issue affecting widely used website technology was announced recently. Out of an abundance of caution, our website provider proactively took websites offline while its security and technical teams apply the necessary updates and verify that sites can be brought back online safely.

This precaution is being taken to help protect our website and the people who use it. There is no action you need to take at this time.
