Allergy immunotherapy takes time—but there’s a reason for that.

Rather than simply managing allergy symptoms, immunotherapy works by gradually changing how the immune system responds to allergens. That process happens in phases, from early symptom improvement to building the long-term tolerance that can help results last beyond treatment.
Feeling better is an important milestone, but it doesn’t necessarily mean treatment is finished. Continuing through each phase gives the immune system time to learn a more lasting response.
