Two infrared saunas can both be called *full-spectrum* and still be built very differently.

That's because full-spectrum tells you which infrared ranges a sauna delivers: near, mid, and far. What it doesn't tell you is how those ranges are produced.

And that's an important distinction when you're comparing saunas for your home.

The Helios' unmistakable red glow is part of the experience, and there's some interesting technology behind it.

That brilliant glow comes from its 660 nm red LEDs, but the HELIOS-300 also emits 850 nm near-infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye. You can use either wavelength independently or combine both, all in a compact panel designed for targeted red light therapy sessions at home.

The basics matter most: protecting the collagen you already have and giving your body the nutrients and building blocks it needs to make more.

Red and near-infrared light have also been studied for how they affect fibroblast activity and processes involved in collagen production.
