From welcoming families with a smile to comforting little patients, keeping our days running smoothly, and bringing so much laughter and positivity to our office, these three truly do it all!

We couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us build our Sunshine family. Their kindness, dedication, enthusiasm, and willingness to go above and beyond mean more to us than words can express.

We’re so incredibly grateful to have each of them as part of our Sunshine family. We truly couldn’t do this without them! 🥹💛

We rolled up our sleeves! 💉☀️

Your Sunshine pediatricians got their flu and COVID vaccines!

We spend a lot of time encouraging our patients and families to stay up to date on their vaccines, so of course we practice what we preach!

And yes, even pediatricians get excited about picking out stickers afterward! ⭐

Flu activity is already on the rise here in Orange County, so now is a great time to get vaccinated. Staying up to date on vaccines helps reduce the risk of serious illness.

From vitamin K and newborn screenings to hearing and heart checks, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes to help keep your little one healthy and safe. 💛

At Hoag Irvine and Hoag Newport, our four Sunshine pediatricians rotate hospital coverage, providing daily newborn exams and care for our littlest patients before they even head home!

Yesterday, we celebrated a special milestone — Sunshine Pediatrics OC turned 4 months old! 🎉

And what better way to celebrate than by highlighting one of our favorite baby ages — 4 months! 🥹

At 4 months, babies are full of smiles, giggles, curiosity, and pure joy. They’re discovering their little hands, finding their voices, and exploring the world around them. It’s such a magical stage of development!

Just like our little patients, Sunshine Pediatrics OC is growing, learning, and reaching new milestones every day! 💛

We’re so grateful to all the families who have trusted us with their little ones and supported us on this journey. Here’s to many more months (and years!) of growing together! ☀️

Beyfortus is here at Sunshine Pediatrics OC! ☀️

Beyfortus (nirsevimab) is a long-acting antibody that helps protect babies from severe illness caused by RSV. It is not a vaccine and provides antibodies directly to your baby.

Beyfortus is recommended for infants younger than 8 months entering their first RSV season, and some children ages 8–19 months at increased risk for severe RSV may also be eligible.

For most babies, RSV protection is recommended through either maternal RSV vaccination during pregnancy or an infant RSV antibody (Beyfortus)—not both.

October is SIDS Awareness Month 💛

A safe sleep environment can help reduce the risk of SIDS and other sleep-related infant deaths.

Remember: back to sleep, every sleep. Keep baby’s sleep space firm, flat, and clear, and have baby sleep in their own sleep space in your room.

Small steps can make a big difference in creating a safer sleep environment for your baby. ☀️

Pajamas, books, cookies, and a little Sunshine! ☀️📚🍪

Drs. Kim, Kornu, and Lee had such a wonderful time at Cadence Park Elementary School’s Pumajama event yesterday!

Students came to school in their PJs for a special storytime with guest readers, and our doctors were excited to join the fun by sharing cookies, Sunshine goodies, and plenty of smiles! 💛

Thank you, Cadence Park Elementary, for welcoming Sunshine Pediatrics OC into your school community! We loved being part of such a fun event! 🐾
