The conversation about AI has been growing more and more. In 2026, over 88% of businesses report using AI in their workflows.
But I don't think the real competitive advantage is AI itself, but the ‘human’ operating it.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the concept of the "Human in the Loop.”
The best leaders I know aren’t trying to use AI to downsize or cut corners. They’re using it to amplify the people they already have by training their teams to pilot the tech.
AI can generate answers, but it can't build trust. It doesn't understand relationships, emotional nuance, or the "why" behind a hard decision.
But when you put someone behind the wheel to pilot the AI, your team doesn’t have to start from scratch. They get to focus their energy on strategies that actually move the business forward.
What are your thoughts on "Human in the Loop"?
