John didn’t even have to think about it. His answer: Rob.

It’ll be Rob’s first marathon, it’s NEW YORK CITY, and after all these months of training... we’re thinking John might be right.

His take: you do NOT need to carry water for a 5K.

And he feels pretty strongly about it.

Imagine running 26.2 miles with an engagement ring in your pocket.

Ryan didn’t just finish the Walt Disney World Marathon with his now-wife, he proposed just steps past the finish line!

He even bought running shorts specifically with a zipper pocket to make sure that ring made it safely through all 26.2 miles. Talk about having a little extra pressure on race day.
