We have a friend conducting a research project within the College of Human Ecology at the University of Wisconsin who is studying how manual wheelchair users interact with their university settings.

Human ecology is the interdisciplinary study of the relationship between human beings and their natural, social, and built environments. It examines how humans adapt to, alter, and interact with the ecosystems around them, treating human behavior and human culture as integral parts of the Earth's systems!

Therefore, if you are a manual wheelchair user navigating campus life at a College or University, help them out by completing a short 5-minute survey about your personal experiences on campus!

The SOUL team had an extremely productive week at the 2026 PVA Healthcare Summit & Expo. We met with hundreds of healthcare professionals whose goal is to advance the care of with spinal cord injuries and diseases (MS), and .

A Big Week for SOUL!

This week we had the opportunity to provide hands-on training to the therapy teams at Craig Hospital and the Denver VA. We showcased the benefits of the Power-Flex power drive attachment and the gap it fills within the wheelchair power assist space.

As we continue to educate user's, clinicians, and ATP's throughout the country, it's truly gratifying to see the "aha moment" when one "gets" the Power-Flex technology and the added independence it provides to the end users.

This is why we do what we do, making the many, many months of grinding pay off.
