YOUR SKIN ISN’T A SCREEN. YOUR TATTOO DESERVES A REAL ARTIST.
We threw this real photo into Adobe Illustrator and did a text overlay to get the conversation going…So here it is below.
That AI image might look incredible on your phone…but can those tiny details, dramatic highlights and perfectly separated lines translate into a tattoo that still looks good after it heals? That’s the conversation we want our clients to understand.
Digital artwork and tattooing are two different mediums. A screen displays light... A tattoo places pigment in living skin. Your skin tone, placement, body contours and the space between details, all affect the result. Once the tattoo heals and the ink settles, it won’t have the same appearance as a glowing image on your screen.
Designing a custom tattoo takes illustration skills, an understanding of color theory and experience working with the body. Your artist considers how the design flows with your anatomy, which details need room to breathe and what needs simplifying, to stay readable over time.
When you become attached to an AI concept, hearing that certain elements need to change, can be disappointing. We explain those limits because we care about the tattoo you’ll actually wear. A beautiful digital image doesn’t guarantee a workable tattoo design.
Bring us your ideas, your story and your inspiration. Let us help set realistic expectations and create something made for YOUR skin.
LET YOUR ARTIST BE THE ARTIST.
