Extractions are one of those steps in a facial that can make a big difference in your skin immediately after just one treatment, so I always include them in an Apollo Facial, Acne Facial & Acne Program.
Blackheads, milia, under the skin congestion, inflamed pimples, and sebaceous filaments are all things I look for during this step. I strategically perform extractions after steam + an exfoliating enzyme mask to help soften the skin and make appropriate extractions easier and more comfortable. Not everything should be extracted, though! Depending on the type of congestion and the condition of your skin, some things are best left alone. This is why leaving extractions to a professional is especially important. I also educate you on what may be contributing to your congestion, and what you can do at home to prevent new congestion from forming. Home care makes the biggest difference in keeping your pores clear and reducing the need for extractions at every facial appointment.

The best of both worlds.🌍 You get a personally tailored facial treatment that is actually doing something for your skin, while also getting a relaxing experience. When I first started in 'medical' aesthetics, the facials we provided were just that- very medical. No dim lights, no sheets on the bed, no robe change, etc. What that experience did teach me is how to create effective, results-driven facial treatments that aren't just cookie cutter, foo-foo facials. This is why our Apollo Facial is BOTH. Corrective and all the little details that let you relax too. The warm steam, the customized enzyme, and then the neck, chest, and shoulder massage... it's easily a favorite part of the facial.
