Some weekends you work an event.
Some weekends change you.
XRoads 41 was supposed to be a festival weekend with Harmony Wellness Oshkosh
We showed up to serve. We showed up to massage tired bodies, provide wellness resources, listen, support, encourage, laugh, learn, and help people feel a little better than they did when they walked in.
But somewhere along the way… it started feeling less like an event and more like a retreat for us, too. 💜
This photo isn't even everyone. This is only about half of the incredible practitioners who showed up and showed OUT for Amanda Wilcenski and Harmony Wellness Center this weekend.
Different backgrounds.
Different gifts.
Different specialties.
Different personalities.
But somehow, it worked.
We referred people to one another. We jumped in when someone needed help. We learned from each other. We laughed—a LOT. 😂 We shared stories. We watched people walk away smiling. And somewhere between the Campground Hub, the Artist Lounge, the long days, the music, the weather, and all those conversations… relationships were formed.
What started as “we're all working this event together” started becoming:
“What else can we build together?”
Community wellness events. Collaborations. Resources. Experiences that allow people to walk into one space and receive support for their mind, body, and overall well-being.
And that excites me.
But before we rush into what's next, I just want to appreciate what happened here.
I believe every practitioner who came through Harmony this weekend touched somebody's life in some way.
Maybe through their hands.
Maybe through a conversation.
Maybe through encouragement.
Maybe through simply making somebody feel seen.
And if I'm wrong about all of that…
I know at least one life was changed.
Mine. 💜
Thank you, Amanda, for creating the space.
Thank you to every practitioner who trusted the vision enough to show up.
And thank you XRoads for giving us an experience I don't think any of us will forget.
Different specialties. One shared mission.
Real people. Real support. Real community.
This one was special. 🥹💜
