Can you drink alcohol while taking a GLP-1? 🍷

GLP-1 medications can slow digestion and affect appetite, blood sugar, and how your body responds to food and drinks.

Alcohol may also increase side effects like nausea, vomiting, dizziness, dehydration, and low blood sugar, especially if you’re drinking on an empty stomach.

If you choose to drink:
✨ Keep it moderate
✨ Eat beforehand
✨ Stay hydrated
✨ Pay attention to how your body responds

And as always, talk with your healthcare provider about what’s appropriate for you and your specific medication. GLP-1s affect everyone differently—when in doubt, ask your provider!

Think of hormone therapy as one piece of a much bigger wellness puzzle.

The best approach isn’t simply adding hormones and expecting them to do all the work. It’s creating a plan where medical care and healthy, sustainable habits work together toward the same goal.

That partnership between patient and provider matters—and it’s a big part of how we approach hormone health at Pathway. 🤍

Ready to find out what your individual plan could look like? Start with a consultation.

You don’t have to wait until your symptoms become unbearable to start asking questions. 🤍

If changes in your mood, sleep, energy, or overall well-being have you wondering whether hormones could be playing a role, start with a conversation.

📞 Call Pathway at (918) 973-4575 to schedule your consultation.

Some appointments require a reason. This doesn’t have to be one of them. 😉

Maybe there’s something on the calendar. Maybe there isn’t. Maybe you just looked in the mirror and decided you were ready for a little refresh.

Whatever brought you in, we’ll make sure your treatment is personalized to you, your goals, and the results you’re looking for. ✨

And yes, “because I wanted to” is a perfectly good reason.

GLP-1 and GLP-2 may sound similar, but they play very different roles in the body. 👀

GLP-1 is best known for its role in appetite, digestion, and blood sugar regulation, while GLP-2 is more closely connected to gut health and intestinal function. Same family, different jobs. 🧬

Understanding how these hormones work can help you better understand what your body is doing—and why certain treatments work the way they do.

Save this post for the next time you hear someone mention GLP-1 vs. GLP-2!

Sometimes we don’t realize how much we’ve adjusted to feeling “off” until we start feeling like ourselves again. 🤍

We love hearing stories like this from our patients. Hormone therapy isn’t about chasing a number or assuming that feeling different is simply part of getting older—it’s about looking at the whole picture and finding an individualized approach when treatment is appropriate.

Thank you for trusting Tia and the Pathway team with your care and for sharing your experience!

Sometimes the symptoms you’ve learned to live with are worth asking about.

Changes in energy, sleep, mood, libido, or simply not feeling quite like yourself can be a reason to start a conversation with your provider.

That doesn’t mean hormone therapy is the answer for everyone. It means you deserve an individualized evaluation to find out what is.

Your first appointment is simply a place to start. 🤍

Testosterone isn’t just a “male hormone”—and for some women, it can be an important part of the hormone conversation.

But hormone health is about more than looking at one number on a lab report. Your symptoms, other hormone levels, health history, and how your body responds all help determine what an appropriate plan looks like for you.

That’s why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to hormone therapy at Pathway.

Wondering if your hormones could be contributing to the way you’ve been feeling? Let’s take a closer look.

Losing weight isn’t just about the number on the scale. You want to preserve lean muscle, too. 💪

When losing weight, adequate protein + resistance training can help support your lean mass while you lose body fat.

Think:
🥩 Prioritize protein
🏋️ Strength train regularly
🥗 Don’t undereat
💧 Stay hydrated

THE GOAL: Lose fat. Maintain muscle. Support your body.

09/24/2026

You’re allowed to want to look like yourself—just a little more refreshed. ✨

Good aesthetics shouldn’t be about chasing a completely different face or trying to look 20 forever. Sometimes it’s simply taking care of your skin, softening the things that bother you, and choosing treatments that fit your version of aging well.

At Pathway, we’re here for subtle, intentional, and still very much you. 🤍
